Welcome to Suburbia
When I was first hired to illustrate a new comic strip about a suburban housewife for a local magazine, little did I know that 10 years later, not only is the strip still running, but its main character, Molly Matters, has attained near-celebrity status for miles around. She's become the magazine's mascot of sorts, appearing on invitations to special events, on the cover of the 25th anniversary issue, and posing in dozens of photos with fans.
Just for fun (and authenticity), I always make sure there's at least one glass of wine in every episode.
